Cope Machines

Voorwood cope machines support the production of doors in the woodworking industry. Our cope shapers are available in several models starting with a single-side dual spindle cope shaper to double-side cope shapers with full CNC automatic positioning for the best possible repeatability and fastest throughput in the industry. Our cope machines support either S4S or profiled parts without needing a backer block for eliminating tear-out.

OPTIONS: Hopper feeder; automatic space ball inserter; spindles configured with quick change, HSK, or stacked tooling.

  • A2515 Double-Side Cope Shaper

    A2515 DOUBLE-SIDE COPE SHAPER

    The A2515 Double-Side Cope Shaper is equipped with mirrored shaping stations on either side that automatically position all necessary adjustments for each profile setup. This cope shaper is equipped with variable-speed transporter drive motors that are electronically synchronized and includes automatic CNC control of the hold-down and the horizontal and vertical axes for all shaping stations for the best possible repeatability.

    A215 DOUBLE-SIDE COPE SHAPER

    The A215 Double-Side Cope Shaper is equipped with mirrored shaping stations on either side. The first station has the option to be configured to jump in or out during the cut and includes automatic CNC control of the horizontal axis for the best possible repeatability.

    A5615 AUTOMATIC DOUBLE-SIDE COPE & STICK SYSTEM

    The Voorwood A5615 Automatic Double-Side Cope & Stick System will process stiles and rails without operator input.

    It has the following features:

    • Designed for shaker door production
    • First single machine to automatically profile, size & square stiles and rails
    • Hopper fed random length parts for kitchen at a time production
    • Automatically measures and sizes each rail with zero operator input
    • Processes both cope cuts at the same time, ensuring a square part

  • A26 Cope Shaper: Designed to shape single or multiple parts in one pass. Parts can be quickly transferred from left or right shapers for end-to-end cope cuts. Both edge guide assemblies are removable which allows cope cuts on parts longer than 36 inches.

    The A26 Cope Shaper is designed to shape single or multiple parts in one pass. Each shaping station is equipped with a precision-balanced drive motor and spindle. The counter-rotating spindles cut against the direction of feed. Spindles can be configured with quick change, HSK, or stacked tooling.
