Tenoner Machines

Voorwood designs and manufactures innovative, high-quality, precision-made woodworking machinery which includes single- and double-end tenoner machinery. Voorwood’s tenoner machinery is suitable for use in the manufacture of kitchen cabinets, furniture, solid-surface, and by specialty wood industries to shape and sand profiles of raised panels, outside edges, coping, stiles, and rails. Voorwood machines are capable of CNC (Arch) contouring during the pass-through process. Voorwood engineering customizes the woodworking machinery to meet your process requirements.

    • Auto-indexing ability to address sanding wear
  • A2515 Double-End Tenoner

    A2515 DOUBLE-END TENONER

The A2515 Double-End Tenoner automatically makes all necessary adjustments for each profile setup. All spindles are set up to rotate with or against the direction of feed with a jump feature on the first station. The sanding stations have reversing spindles on either side. The stations can be horizontally locked for straight shape/sand or CNC controlled to shape/sand pre-programmed contours (arches).

    • Accommodates up to 4 shaping and sanding stations
    • Configured with automatic pop-up dogs that pull parts into the machine, sizing and squaring parts of any length
    • Automatic feeder (option)
  • A200 SERIES

Manual adjustment series designed for fast and repeatable set up

    A217 Double-End Tenoner

    A217 DOUBLE-END TENONER

The A217 Double-End Tenoner profiles and sands both edges of hardwood parts in one continuous pass. Depending on model configuration, each side of the machine is comprised of up to three shaping units that make the same cut to prevent end grain tear-out. The first shaper rotates with the feed direction, and as the substrate passes, the station jumps in to make a short but full depth cut on the substrate’s trailing edge.

    • Accommodates 6 or more shaping and sanding stations
    • Configured with automatic pop-up dogs that push parts into the machine up to any length
    • Spindles can be configured with Quick Change, HSK, or stacked tooling
  • A215 Double-End Tenoner

    A215 DOUBLE-END TENONER

The A215 Double-End Tenoner profiles and sands both edges of hardwood parts in one continuous pass. Each side of the machine is comprised of two shaping units that make the same cut to prevent end grain tear-out. The first shaper rotates with the feed direction, and as the substrate passes, the station jumps in to make a short but full depth cut on the substrate’s trailing edge. The second unit rotates against the direction of feed to finish the cut started by the first shaper. Jump shapers are equipped with a mechanical switch and PLC to time the jump which automatically adjusts for part size and feed speed of the machine.

    • Accommodates up to 4 shaping and sanding stations
  • Single-End Tenoner Series: Shapes and sands/polishes edges in one pass of hardwood, MDF, and solid resin based substrates. Capable if CNC (Arch) contouring during the pass-through process.

    A1500 SERIES

Axis configuration allows for best repeatability • Processes smallest parts in industry (1.50” W x 3.50” L) • Servo controlled automatic positioning • Automatic tool changer • Capable of producing contoured parts (arches) • Designed to meet your R.O.I.
