CA300 Slitter Rewinder
The CA Series—CA300 Slitter Rewinder is designed and manufactured primarily for high-speed slitting and winding of coated papers and films for narrow web slitting. Unwind assembly includes full lateral travel of the leaf type, air expanding shaft’s position within the web area. Automatic tracking is provided by a Fife edge guide. The CA300 Slitter Rewinder can be equipped with rotary shear-, score-, razor-slitting stations, or a combination. The web is rewound on cores over dual leaf type air expanding rewind shafts that are flange mounted to provide ease of change to other desired sizes or two cantilevered 3” differential shafts with spacer core or core locking segments. When selecting the differential core locking rewind shafts will be equipped with a variable-speed rewind drive programmed to run 20-50 rpm’s faster than the web speed allowing slipping of the core to maintain equal tension across all rewind rolls. CA300 Slitter Rewinder unloading arms can be positioned concentric with the rewind shafts for unloading of the finished rewound rolls.
